MINI LESSON
Multiplying Powers with the Same Base
When multiplying powers with the same base, add the exponents.
The rule is \(a^m \cdot a^n = a^{m+n}\).
This rule works because multiplying powers combines repeated multiplication.
Always make sure the bases are the same before adding exponents.
